This listing features a decorated Al-Muʿawwidhatayn calligraphy panel, centred on Sūrat al-Falaq and Sūrat an-Nās — the two Qur’anic chapters revealed as a source of protection, refuge, and healing.
Known collectively as Al-Muʿawwidhatayn (“the two chapters of refuge”), these surahs are traditionally recited for protection from:
-Harm and evil
-Envy and the evil eye
-Whisperings of Shayṭān
-Anxiety, fear, and unseen afflictions
The Prophet ﷺ would regularly recite Al-Muʿawwidhatayn for protection and advised their use in daily remembrance. In this composition, the names and verses are arranged in a circular flow, symbolising enclosure, safeguarding, and divine refuge, with the name “Allah” anchored at the heart of the design.
